Here's some video I shot of Kid Rock in concert at the California Mid State Fair in Paso Robles, California on July 27. It was a Kid Rock party as he came on after a snippet of Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin’” that ended with the line “just a city boy born and raised in South Detroit" and a video montage of his career up to this point. Another legendary concert I was lucky enough to attend was the 1985 Day On The Green concert at Oakland Coliseum in Oakland, California. Day On The Green concerts had been happening for many years in the Bay Area, and this one was the hardest rocking yet. The concert morphed into the stop for the "Monsters of Rock" tour in subsequent years, but we haven't had a true Day On The Green festival concert in California for many a year now---too bad. read more...
