Figures Toy Company is about to introduce KISS Series 2 action figures, reminiscent of the action figures first released in 1977-1978 by the Mego Toy Company. These figures will have rooted hair, cloth clothing, 16 points of articulation and are based on the very first KISS album from 1974 title “KISS”. read more...

Jani Lane of Warrant Biopic in the works

According to Paparazzi Daily, radio personality/comedian Jeff Dandurand will portray Jani Lane in an upcoming biopic about the late Warrant singer's life. "Cherry Pie Guy" will begin with Jani arriving in Hollywood in the Spring of ’85 and struggling before becoming the lead singer of Warrant. Warrant would go on to become the biggest draw on the Sunset Strip breaking Van Halen’s attendance record at rock club Gazzari’s. Signed to CBS/Columbia in late 1988, Warrant sold millions of records with hits like "Heaven" and "Cherry Pie." read more...

Glenn Hughes gets ready for new Black Country Communion release, talks Deep Purple Mark II and Orange Amplification (video)

Glenn Hughes and Black Country Communion are readying the release of their third studio album 'Afterglow' on October 30th and have released the first webisode of the making of the album which you can watch below. But, Glenn Hughes has already said it could be the BCC's last because he wants to be in a band that can take on a long term touring commitment, and because of guitarist Joe Bonamassa's solo career, that is just not going to happen. He has mentioned that he has formed a band called Kings Of Chaos with Joe Elliott (Def Leppard), Duff McKagan (ex-Guns N' Roses/Velvet Revolver/Loaded), Matt Sorum (ex-Guns N' Roses/Velvet Revolver) and Steve Stevens (ex-Billy Idol), but he has also talked with David Coverdale about some kind of possible resurrection/tribute of the Deep Purple Mark III lineup. read more...

Vince Neil of Motley Crue breaks his foot, but the show must go on!

Vince Neil of Motley Crue broke his foot during Motley Crue's set last night (Sept. 12) at the Blossom Music Center in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio on 'The Tour' with KISS and The Treatment. Vince confirmed the injury in a Twitter post, writing, "Cleveland tonight. Paramedics think I broke my foot. I hope not. Getting X-ray tomorrow in Toronto. AC/DC to release first live album in 20 years ‘Live At River Plate’ (video)

AC/DC will release their first live album in 20 years on November 16th with 'Live At River Plate.' The live record follows last year's 'Live At River Plate' DVD, filmed during their three massive Buenos Aires concerts in front of over 200,000 people on the Black Ice world tour in December of 2009. That DVD debuted at No.1 in 17 countries. The new album will be available in a three-disc red vinyl or a two-CD set featuring multiple covers. read more...
