Cheap Trick getting ready to wrap their run of “Dream Police” Bombastic Symphonic Philharmonic shows

Cheap Trick are getting ready to end a successful run with The Bombastic Symphonic Philharmonic With The Rhythmic Noise Mind Choir in Collaboration with Butch Allen, Bello Nock & Jim Yukichat at Milwaukee’s Northern Lights Theater at Potawatomi Bingo Casino. It all kicked off on Jan. 20th, with 12 dates, and is set to wrap up Feb. 25 & 26th. Here’s some great footage of this great run of successful shows. I’m really digging the stage set up, and think it is so cool that Rick Nielsen’s son’s are now in the band on backing guitar and drums, joining Robin Zander and Tom Petersen. Apparently Bun E. Carlos is still in the band, just doesn’t tour anymore. Hopefully Cheap Trick will put out more new music at some point. Check out this clip:
Cheap Trick have just been announced as part of the lineup of the Download Festival June 10-12 with Def Leppard, System Of A Down, AliceCooper, AlterBridge, Avenged Sevenfold, Black Stone Cherry, Buckcherry, Danzig, Duff McKagan’s Logan, Disturbed, Hollywood Undead, Korn, Linkin Park, Mr. Big, Rob Zombie, The Cult, The Damned Things, Thin Lizzy, Twisted Sister and many more. It all takes place in Donnington Park in Leicestershire, United Kingdom. What a lineup!
