Joss Stone wants Mick Jagger and her SuperHeavy bandmates to perform with her at next year’s Olympics in London

Joss Stone is trying to persuade Sir Mick Jagger and her bandmates in SuperHeavy to perform with her at next year’s London Olympics. SuperHeavy features Jagger and Stone as well as Dave Stewart (Eurythmics), Damian Marley and A. R. Rahman. She said: “It’s an exciting project but it is so hard to get everybody together in one place. But the Olympics would be great, the perfect idea. I’ll ask him.”

Mick recently said while he loves working with Joss, he finds her “annoying” because she never stops singing.  He said: “She sings all the time, even when she’s speaking. She’s very funny, but can be slightly annoying after a while, and I have to tell her to shut up, ‘Shut up Joss’.

“I do boss the others, but in a way that they don’t even know because I’m being so nice. But they also tell me to sod off and be quiet as well so it works both ways, you have to be ready for that.” The band members actually all get along great, and let’s hope this does happen, because the window of opportunity for some live performance of SuperHeavy could close quickly, with the possible Rolling Stones 50th Reunion Toiur coming.
