Original Kiss drummer Peter Criss’ upcoming memoir, ‘Makeup to Breakup,’ is set to be released October 23, according to the Simon & Schuster website. Criss has written the autobiography with Larry “Ratso” Sloman. It will be 320 pages long and available as a hardcover as well an electronic book.
‘Makeup to Breakup’ will be published by Simon & Schuster’s Scribner imprint. A press release issued last year says, the book will tell Criss’ “unvarnished and eye-opening life story,” from “sex, drugs and rock ‘n roll to multiple brushes with death.” Criss said in a statement: “I am so blessed that I am finally going to write my autobiography, and I hope you enjoy the ride. The best of all is I get to share my true feelings of my love for God, family, friends and fame. It’s been a wonderful life.”
