‘Saturday Night Live’’s season finale on May 19th looks to be a mini-rock fest of sorts with host Mick Jagger also performing with the Foo Fighters and Arcade Fire on the show.
Entertainment Weekly reported the story on Friday morning. Foo Fighter Dave Grohl has been on the show three times as much as the Rolling Stones‘ frontman. However Grohl has never hosted, something Jagger will be doing solo for the first time.
In 1978 Jagger hosted the show with the rest of the Rolling Stones, and he has also since starred as a musical guest. He also returned earlier this year to cameo when Jimmy Fallon hosted. Between Nirvana, Foo Fighters, and Them Crooked Vultures and his appearance with Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Grohl has taken the SNL stage 11 times.
Next weekends show could also be the final one for show regulars Andy Samberg, Jason Sudeikis and Kristine Wiig.
