Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell stopped by Howard Stern’s Sirius/XM radio studios (Nov. 16) to promote his new album, “Songbook,” and he topped things off with heartfelt in-studio performances of John Lennon‘s ‘Imagine’ and Led Zeppelin‘s ‘Thank You.’

‘Imagine’ is one of 16 tracks that appear on ‘Songbook,’ a live acoustic album of new songs and some of the best of the Cornell catalog (Soundgarden, Audioslave, Temple of the Dog). Recorded during Cornell’s 2011 spring solo tour, it’s his first live album.

Mastodon performed live for “Last call With Carson Daly” from the Wiltern Theatre in Los Angeles. Check out “Black Tongue” and “Curl of the Burl”, Batteries for Everything!

Tom Morello and his good friend Ben Harper stopped by ‘The Tonight Show With Jay Leno’ to perform “Save The Hammer For The Man” from Tom’s latest album “World Wide Rebel Songs” (Nov. 18). (38:00 of full episode)
