Presented by Wanted Dead or Alive Productions and, Jack Russell's Great White made a stop on their latest tour in the outskirts of the Central Coast of California's Wine Country at The Ranch, a bar/venue in San Miguel, CA. tucked away in an old Mission town just outside of Paso Robles, CA.

After sets by singer/songwriter ODonovan and local favorites Rusted Stone performing as a trio for the first time, the voice of Great White made his way to the stage to rock through a set of classics and covers that the crowd ate up despite some sound issues throughout the set. Directed by Bob Nalbandian and produced by Metalrock Films, 'Inside Metal' features all-new interviews with countless bands and artists that thrived on the scene, and tell its story, first hand. Early feedback has been exceptional, including renowned video director Jonas Åkerlund (who has worked with the likes of Metallica and Ozzy) raving, "This film captures an era that catapulted metal into the spotlight and takes the audience on a wild ride down memory lane. After watching it I wanted to get in my time machine and experience those days for the first time. You’re hit with a potent nostalgia, a time I thought we couldn’t get back, not until I saw this film. I can’t get enough of this shit, what an amazing film to watch over and over again, well done!"

Metalrock Films ask - and want - real and serious metal fans to be a part of this historic documentary and spread the word that this was the scene where it all began, ground zero.

"Our Fanbacked campaign will raise the direly needed financial support to bring this film to one and all in the US and Internationally in order to pay for the marketing and promotion to get it noticed by the general public. We want to bring this film to your theatre, town, bar, club and living room! Unite and support us. Jack Russell of Great White to donate proceeds from upcoming benefit show to late guitarist’s son Acey Longley

Jack Russell of Great White to donate proceeds from upcoming benefit show to late guitarist’s son Acey Longley

February 20, 2013 marks the tenth anniversary of the tragic fire at The Station in West Warwick, Rhode Island, which became the fourth deadliest fire in U.S. history, killing 100 and injuring hundreds more during a Great White concert. Vocalist Jack Russell will perform an acoustic show on February 7th at Saint Rocke in Hermosa Beach, California, with proceeds now set to be donated to Acey Longley, the son of Great White guitarist Ty Longley, who died in the fire caused by the band's pyrotechnics.

Commented Acey: "Thank you to GREAT WHITE (the Jack one) for donating to my charity, , B.E.A.T.S. Bringing Everyone A Tremendous Smile to help bring iTunes cards, drum sticks, and Legos to children in the hospitals in memory of my father, Ty Longley. I also am the state representative for Legos For Leukemia in Illinois, which is where I live. I bring smiles to kids in two hospitals Edward Hospital in Naperville, Illinois and in Plainfield, Illinois. I also plan to give some of it to the Station Fire Memorial Foundation to help build a permanent site for all the angels, including my dad.

"Members of both GREAT WHITE bands are my friends and have donated to my charities to help keep my dad's memory alive and turn the negative of never having my dad into a positive by spreading God's love to children when they need it most. Taking the donation from Jack's GREAT WHITE does NOT mean we only love Jack and his GREAT WHITE friends because we (me and my mom) love both GREAT WHITE bands. Audie and Derrick both donated drumsticks and Audie also sent a practice pad, autographed pictures, and Legos for me to help the kids!

"God says to love everybody, so I do, and people that aren't as easy to love need extra love so they can accept Jesus into their heart and replace the sadness. That's why I love both GREAT WHITE bands. I have never even met any of the members of either GREAT WHITE bands, but I still love them.

"When my dad died, I wasn't even born, but now I'm 9 and missing having my dad that everyone knew but me. It's important to me to make sure my dad is remembered by everyone and all of the angels because they went off to heaven together.

"I hope to make my dad proud by making the world a better place and bringing happiness to sick kids in the hospitals. I hope everyone understands, and doesn't fight, and helps me."

You can get tickets to Jack Russell's acoustic performance on February 7th at Saint Rocke here.

Station Fire Memorial Foundation requests Jack Russell of Great White remove their name from upcoming benefit show

Jack Russell's Great White had planned to donate the proceeds from a recently announced acoustic performance to the Station Fire Memorial Foundation. February 20th will mark the tenth anniversary of the tragic fire at The Station in West Warwick, Rhode Island, where the pyrotechnics of Great White ignited the deadly blaze that killed 100, including Great White guitarist Ty Longley and injured hundreds more. It became the fourth deadliest fire in U.S. history. After Russell's announcement, the Station Fire Memorial Foundation asked for its name to be removed from anything to do with the show.

The organization has released the following statement regarding the event:

"On January 16, 2013 it came to our attention that a press release announcing a benefit show in Hermosa, California was being promoted by Jack Russell stating that proceeds would be given to the Station Fire Memorial Foundation. This event was not approved by, nor endorsed by the Station Fire Memorial Foundation. We require all third party fundraisers to be recognized and approved by our organization prior to advertising.

"Upon hearing about this event, contact was made with Mr. Russell's management company. The Station Fire Memorial Foundation felt that this event was not something we wished to be associated with. This is due to the resentment and animosity still felt by many of the families and survivors that our very organization represents. We feel that the upset caused by his involvement would outweigh the amount of funds raised at this event. It is our intent as an elected board to put the needs and best interests of those we represent before any monetary gain.

"Mr. Russell's manager, Ms. Valerie Ince, responded that she would remove the name of the Station Fire Memorial Foundation from the event and another worthy charity would be chosen. We thanked her, and tried to have all traces of the event taken down from various music news websites before any damage could be done. Instead of graciously adhering to our heartfelt and polite request, Ms. Ince then released an additional statement to the media.

"We stand behind our decision that our organization represents the feelings and the needs of the family members and survivors above the need for the publicity or opportunity of one person."

The show will continue, with proceeds going to another as of yet unnamed charity, and will take place on February 7th at Saint Rocke in Hermosa Beach, CA.

Jack Russell had released the previous statment prior to the Station Fire Memorial Foundation decision:
"My heart aches for all the families and friends of the victims whose lives will forever be changed by this terrible tragedy," says Jack. "I too lost many friends that night but I can't begin to equate that to the loss of a family member. For what it's worth, you have been in my prayers and always will be."

‘Hair I Go Again’…Two middle aged guys. One lifelong dream. Zero chance in hell (documentary trailer)

‘Hair I Go Again’…Two middle aged guys. One lifelong dream. Zero chance in hell (documentary trailer)

'Hair I Go Again', a new film documenting two friends who were once part of a band trying to hit it big back in 1985 and their attempt to reunite and try opening for their Heavy Metal idols on tour is slated for release early this year. Check out the three-and-a-half-minute trailer below.

Film synopsis: "The year was 1985. Thousands of miles away from the sonic debauchery of the Sunset Strip, a group of teenage friends shared aspirations of glam rock grandeur. Rising from the ashes of countless garage jams and taking a page straight out of Hit Parader, a hungry, determined band was ultimately born. Fame and fortune were well within reach, as they toured the skating rink circuit of West Central Florida, but fate intervened and the group unceremoniously imploded... probably over some chick.

"In this humorous-yet-shameless documentary, two longtime friends ultimately realize their mortality and decide to give the dream one last shot. Gone are the long hair, leopard-skin spandex and all-night parties. Only to be replaced, some twenty-five years later, by male-pattern baldness, XXL fashion and the mundane grind of 9-to-5. Their mission: reunite the band and appear as an opening act for their heavy metal idols.

"Their journey will take them cross-country as they seek out (OK, stalk) their musical heroes with the hopes of hearing the words: 'You've got the gig.'

"Countless questions remain. Will they find their long-lost bandmates (particularly the bastards that still owe them money)? Can any of them still hold a tune? And who was that skank that broke up the band in the first place?

"Failure might be their only option."

Directed by Steve McClure credits include Starz Entertainment Group, E! Entertainment Television & Sony Pictures Entertainment. Steve also wrote and produced "The Michelangelo Story", a documentary distributed nationally by Service Merchandise.

After obtaining numerous industry awards for cable television promotion, Steve co-founded Ghost-2-Eleven Entertainment with long-time high school friend, Kyle Kruger. The film was written by Kruger and McClure. As an Associate Producer with EMG, Kyle served under the tutelage of the late, 2-time Academy Award winning Producer John Daly ("Platoon", "The Last Emperor", "The Terminator", "Hoosiers").
