KISS News: Gene endorses Romney, Band slams Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame, CMA Recap, walk down Hollywood Boulevard in full makeup, KISS Alive II Fan Mosaics (video)
Gene Simmons showed up on 'Fox & Friends' has came out and endorsed Mitt Romney for president. Simmons, who supported Barack Obama in 2008, says that he regrets his choice:
"Hindsight is 20/20. I have some real issues with the economy and how it's being done. America should be in business and it should be run by a businessman. Americans, smartly, and I applaud them for doing so, vote on the issues and not the party."
"America is a business. If you can't afford to do something, no matter how much bellyaching everybody does - I'm so sorry, if you can't afford it, you shouldn't do it." That and you want the tax codes to protect your millions upon millions, right Gene? I guess if a rock legend can sway your vote for President, more power to him.
Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley of KISS slam the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame in this interview from Monday night's (Mar. 2) 'Shobiz Tonight' on HLN. Buy it Gene, you have enough money!

KISS fan shot video has surfaced of the band walking, in full makeup and stage gear, down Hollywood Boulevard. It happened after KISS finished with "THE TOUR" press conference and interviews with Motley Crue and they were getting ready to head over to the 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' studios in vans. But that didn't happen as Paul Stanley suggested that the band should walk to the show instead.
They walked from the front doors of the Roosevelt Hotel, down Hollywood Boulevard, into the Jimmy Kimmel Studios, and all the way to their dressing rooms, then a second video of the guys making their way to the stage. Check out the footage.

KISS and Fan Mosaics Invite Fans to Celebrate 35 Years of KISS Alive II
Commemorative Photo Mosaic to be Composed Entirely of Fan-Submitted Images
For 35 years KISS fans have reveled in the sounds and images of KISS Alive II. To celebrate the anniversary of this masterful live album, KISS and Fan Mosaics are inviting fans to be part of some of the most recognizable rock images of all time.
“Every KISS fan knows and loves these images of the Demon, the Starchild, the Spaceman, and the Catman,” says KISS co-founder and front man Paul Stanley. “In honor of this big anniversary, we’re giving fans the chance to see these photos in a new way—featuring them in a supporting role.”
Fan Mosaics has combined the larger-than-life images from the KISS Alive II cover into a single picture that will be reproduced as an official collector’s item print.
“It’s more than just an amazing print, though” says Rob Hixenbaugh, Fan Mosaics’ director of fan & brand development. “It’s a mosaic that uses fan-submitted photos as its building blocks. The fans’ images will actually make up the big picture, letting them get inside a major part of KISStory.”
The 24-inch by 30-inch prints make great gifts or unique collectibles for everyone who’s ever dreamed of getting up close and personal with the band. Fans can unleash their inner rock star and upload their photo for inclusion in the officially licensed KISS Alive II Fan Mosaic at www.fanmosaics.com/kiss.

Slash is doing his part to support the Los Angeles Youth Network, a non-profit organization which helps runaway and homeless youth on the streets of Los Angeles, CA. The ex-Guns N’ Roses guitarist has released a new version of his 2010 single “Gotten,” featuring vocals from Maroon 5 lead singer Adam Levine, for the charity.
Go to Slash's website and donate $1 to get the track. All proceeds go to the Los Angeles Youth Network.
In addition, Slash has created a new video for the track. The nine-minute short film features a storyline that centers on a 16-year-old girl who runs away from home because her mother’s boyfriend is abusive. The girl lives on the street for a time, but eventually returns to the house to rescue her mother. The video stars CW TV show 'Hellcats,' movie actress and singer Amanda “AJ” Milchalka, 'True Blood' actress Kristin Bauer and 'The Breakfast Club' actor Judd Nelson, among others.
“This video was created to make people take notice of the homeless teen epidemic which is rampant in L.A. as well as in the rest of the country,” said Slash in a statement. “The story in this video is just one scenario amid millions of potential situations happening at any given time in Los Angeles alone. Everybody involved with the making of this video selflessly donated their time and talents to this cause. I thank them with all my heart.”
