Performers for Bruce Springsteen MusiCares 2013 Tribute announced

Bruce Springsteen has already been named as MusiCares' Person of the Year for 2013, and now we know the list of stars who will perform at this year's tribute benefit for the Boss. Springsteen will be honored at special event celebrating his exceptional artistic achievements as well as his philanthropic work. Proceeds from the annual Person of the Year tribute — now in its 23rd year — provide essential support for MusiCares, which ensures that music people have a place to turn in times of financial, medical, and personal need.
The tribute will inlcude performances by Alabama Shakes, Jackson Browne, Kenny Chesney, Ben Harper, Emmylou Harris, Faith Hill, Jim James, Elton John, Juanes, John Legend, Natalie Maines, Tim McGraw, Tom Morello, Mumford & Sons, Patti Smith, Mavis Staples, Sting, Eddie Vedder, and Neil Young.
Springsteen's friend, comedian and fellow New Jersey native Jon Stewart, will be the evening’s host.
In addition to the tribute concert, held in the week leading up to the Grammy Awards since 1989, a gala dinner and silent auction will also raise funds for the organization.
Past MusiCares Person of the Year honorees include, Tony Bennett, Bono, Natalie Cole, Phil Collins, David Crosby, Neil Diamond, Gloria Estefan, Aretha Franklin, Don Henley, Billy Joel, Elton John, Quincy Jones, Paul McCartney, Luciano Pavarotti, Bonnie Raitt, Paul Simon, Sting, Barbra Streisand, James Taylor, Brian Wilson, Stevie Wonder, and Neil Young.
‘CMT Crossroads: Joe Walsh & Friends’ full episode

The latest 'CMT Crossroads' episode featuring Joe Walsh performing with a variety of country artists, as well as ZZ Top's Billy Gibbons, premiered this past Saturday, but now it's been posted online. 'CMT Crossroads: Joe Walsh & Friends' captures Eagles guitarist collaborating on stage with such Nashville stars as Brad Paisley, Kenny Chesney, Sara Evans, Luke Bryan and Hunter Hayes. Among the tunes Walsh plays are 'Rocky Mountain Way' with Paisley, 'Life's Been Good' with Bryan, 'Best of My Love' with Sara Evans and 'Life In the Fast Lane' with Billy Gibbons. CMT.com has posted a couple of bonus videos,. In the first, Walsh talks crediting The Who's Pete Townshend with being a major influence on him as a musician. He also cited Brian Wilson as an inspiration, recalling that he once saw a Beach Boys concert when he was in high school. In the second clip, the talk turns to the digital music age vs. the way things used to be recorded.
Joe Walsh & Friends to be on upcoming episode of CMT’s ‘Crossroads’ series

Joe Walsh will join forces with country stars Kenny Chesney, Brad Paisley, Luke Bryan, Sara Evans and Hunter Hayes for a new episode of CMT Crossroads premiering June 23rd at 11 p.m. ET/PT on CMT. CMT Crossroads: Joe Walsh and Friends will also feature collaborations with the legendary singer, songwriter and guitarist on solo hits such as "Life's Been Good" and Eagles classics including "Life in the Fast Lane."
They will all help celebrate the release of his new solo album 'Analog Man, as will fellow Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top. All of the evening’s participants were handpicked by Walsh, who says that "nothing beats country music with a little rock & roll sprinkled on top. We’re going to mix up a batch and see what happens. I got a real good feeling about it. Nashville, here we come!"
Springsteen Week kicks off on ‘Late Night With Jimmy Fallon’: E Street Band & Kenny Chesney performances

NBC’s ‘Late Night with Jimmy Fallon’ got off to a rousing start Monday night, with the Boss and the E Street Band performing two songs from their upcoming album, ‘Wrecking Ball.’ the single, ‘We Take Care Of Our Own’ and the title song. ‘Wrecking Ball’ will be released March 6. It continued last night with Kenny Chesney's performance of 'Born in The U.S.A.' Check out all the performance footage below, and look for John Legend with the Roots tonight on 'Dancing In the Dark,' Elvis Costello on 'Brilliant Disguise on Thursday, and a return of the E Street Band for Friday's show, where Springsteen will be the only guest.
