-More rockers have shared the thoughts and condolances with the people of Japan in the last couple of weeks.
Whitesnake frontman David Coverdale has issued the following message:
"Beloved Japanese Friends... I honour, I love and I respect you and you are in my heart, my thoughts and my prayers everyday... Please stay safe & strong thro' these difficult times... Love & Light."
Don Dokken had this to say:
"It is truly a tragedy, but the Japanese are resilient people. We were planning on doing shows there late this summer but now everything's on hold. I think everyone in the world should donate for food and medical help. If and when we go back to Japan we will donate some of the tour profits, it's the right thing to do. We owe them a lot for all the years of supporting us. It's a great country, and I'm sure they'll pull through, but still it's a sad situation right now."
