Alice In Chains have released the third track from the band's fifth studio album, 'The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here.' 'Voices' is on the mellow side of the first two singles from the album, 'Hollow' and 'Stone,' but it sounds like it is going to join those tracks as going to the top of the active rock charts.

Megadeth have released a video for their title track from their latest album 'Super Collider.' Looks like Dave has gotten in touch with his sensitive side, with the video also having a story line of a girl and a boy who are torn apart by her father (played by Dave) , only to reunite at their 10 year class reunion to rocket fireworks and a happy ending.
Dave Mustaine recently said about the track: “The song kind of came from that Symphony Of Destruction corner of my mind. You can’t always play aggressive, thrashy stuff. Sometimes those aren’t even songs; they’re like musical rams. But because I’m not a pop guy, I’m also not really comfortable playing sing-along songs.
“To me, Super Collider made sense like a normal song — a verse-chorus-verse-chorus kind of thing. It’s written the way a real songwriter would write the song, instead of just taking all these musical twists and turns.”
Megadeth are wrapping up their Gigantour tomorrow night in Toronto, and will follow that up with some dates opening for Iron Maiden, and slots on the 'Battle of San Bernadino' (CA) bill with Iron Maiden, Anthrax, Testament, Overkill and Sabaton on September 13, and the Monster Energy Aftershock 2013 Festival on September 14 in Sacramento, CA. That bill features Korn, Shinedown, Papa Roach, Skillet, Buckcherry, In This Moment, Steel Panther, Device, P.O.D., Pop Evil, Otherwise, Soil and Heaven's Basement. The band will then continue the tour during October in South America, before returning for a one-off gig in Phoenix, AZ. on October 30 at the Arizona State Fair.
The Todd La Torre fronted Queensryche is up next with their track 'Fallout,' from the group's self-titled new album, which sold around 13,500 copies in the United States in its first week of release to landing at No. 23 on The Billboard 200 chart. The record came out on June 25 via Century Media Records. The new video was filmed in Gelsenkirchen, Germany this past May during the annual Rock Hard Festival and features concert and behind-the-scenes footage.
Queensryche have a couple of U.S. tour dates left in August before heading to Europe for a tour during October. Get all the info on the band's official Facebook page.
Rob Zombie's second single from his latest album 'Venomous Rat Generation Vendor,' features one of his first forays into cover tune territory, his version of 'We're An American Band' also includes a tip of the hat to Slayer in the lines "Up all night with Kerry King/I got to tell ya poker’s his thing."
Guitarist John 5 added: “In the original there’s a lyric that goes, ‘Up all night with Freddie King.’ In the Rob Zombie version it says ‘Kerry King.’ We kind of snuck that in.”
It's a rocking version that is played well on the latest Zombie tour, and has becaome a staple in their live set. Rob and the band will be playing the Heavy MTL 2013 Festival in Montreal this weekend, followed by Rock In Rio on September 19, and Buenes Aires on September 22. Then look for Rob Zombie’s 'Great American Nightmare.' This bone-chilling experience will combine the most advanced haunted house attractions with a not-to-be-missed music festival from top artists in hard rock, alternative, EDM, and more, every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from October 10 through November 2, 2013 at the Fairplex FEARplex in Pomona, CA, just outside Los Angeles. A DVD filmed this past August 3 & 4 in Texas is in the works as well.
New York City's Eve to Adam are back and will release their new album ‘Locked & Loaded’ on Sept. 17. The album's lead single 'Straitjacket Supermodel,' features some "mature themes," with a super sick in the head supermodel doing her best to decimate and eliminate everybody she comes in explicit contact with.
Eve to Adam singer Taki Sassaris has described ‘Straightjacket Supermodel’ this way: ”You can go from zero to villain in three seconds, and it seems like everybody has their own little chaotic psychotic world going on with their Twitter and Facebook and everybody is pretty much the center of their own universe now, so it’s getting a little crazy, so that’s the ‘Straitjacket’ part, and ‘Supermodel’ is just being looked upon as being beautiful and perfect and that quest for an obsession for physical perfection and to be looked upon in that limelight as the ultimate badass.”
Eve To Adam continue to built a base with each subsequent album, and 'Locked & Loaded' will be no exception to that. The band just finished a tour with Texas Hippie Coalition, but has a few more upcoming dates coming up:

Rock Picks of the Week: Sebastian Bach, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Breaking Benjamin, Seether, Finding Clyde
Sebastian Bach is back with new solo material and the first Rock Pick of the Week! "Kicking & Screaming" is the title track and first release from the album, to be released on September 27th via Frontiers Records in North America and September 23rd in Europe. It's produced by Bob Marlette (Black Sabbath, Shinedown, Atreyu, Filter).
The song has that powerful vocal that we can always expect from Bach, with solid musicianship and production. It's a great lead track as the first release from what I expect is an album full of great rock.
The recording features young guitar prodigy Nick Sterling and drum pro Bobby Jarzombek (Halford, Riot, Iced Earth), as well a guest appearance by guitarist John 5 (Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie). Bach and company will take to the road this month with select dates nationwide. Bach says: "This CD will follow along the lines of 'Skid Row', 'Slave To The Grind', 'Subhuman Race' and 'Angel Down'. If you like rockin' guitar riffs, high-energy songs and performances, deadly drums of doom, and ear-shattering screams, we got your rock right here!" He also described the songs as "heavy, interesting, classic sounding, modern sounding, completely rock 'n' roll — just how we like it!"

3. TunnelVision (featuring John 5)

Bach's girlfriend, 25-year-old model Minnie Gupta is featured on both the album cover and the new video:
Kenny Wayne Shepherd just released his new album of blues rock called "How I Go". This album is another great addition to that blues rock that fans expect from Kenny. The first track "Never Lookin' Back" is quality rock, with an impressive guitar solo and the solid growling vocal of Noah Hunt. Besides Noah, Kenny has an incredible band together, including Chris Layton on drums (Stevie Ray Vaughn & Double Trouble/Arc Angels/Storyville), Riley Osbourn on Keyboards and newest addition Tony Franklin (The Firm/Blue Murder) on bass. The road warriors will be touring into October, so look for them somewhere near you.
"Never Lookin' Back"

The Pennsylvania band are already near the top of the rock charts with this one, and it looks to have a solid shot at #1. The band continues to put out great tracks year after year, and now you can get them all on one album. The two-disc release will feature the band’s chart-topping hits including “Breath,” “So Cold,” “Sooner Or Later,” “The Diary of Jane” and “I Will Not Bow,” as well as an entire disc of rare recordings including never-before-released songs, live performances, rare acoustic recordings and remixes.
Seether "Tonight" is the second track from the album "Holding on to Strings Better Left to Fray". The band has a few gigs with Black Stone Cherry and Finger Eleven followed by dates on the Rockstar Energy Drink Uproar Festival. The lineup for the Uproar Festival includes Avenged Sevenfold, Three Days Grace, Bullet For My Valentine and Escape The Fate.
