Guns, Junkyard, Trixter, Autograph, Black ‘N Blue, Tracii Guns, Enuff Z' Nuff, BulletBoys, Bang Tango, Jetboy, Pretty Boy Floyd, Tuff and Little Caesar are ready to rock. with an All-Star Jam to conclude the show.

Cathouse Live will feature band performances on two stages, VIP Meet and Greets, a vendor village, a chopper motorcycle show, tattoo shops, go-go dancers, and more.

“I recently started a Cathouse Hollywood Facebook page and everyone was asking ‘Why don’t you do another Cathouse?’ I loved the idea and mentioned it on Twitter. So many bands told me that they wanted to be a part of it, that I knew that I had to bring it back on a much larger scale. It was too big for a club, so we decided to do a festival,” Rachtman explains. “The music scene isn't what it was like back then--that type of decadence. We’re going to bring the debauchery of the Cathouse back to Southern California! SoCal needs this kind of rock festival so people will have the chance to go out, have fun and enjoy a great rock show in all its excess. Cathouse was a very successful weekly nightclub for six years, so we’re trying to pack all those years of Cathouse into one night for Cathouse Live. All I want is for those who go to have a good time and say, ‘That was the BEST ROCK FESTIVAL EVER.’”

Tickets for Cathouse Live At Irvine Meadows are on sale now at www.CathouseLive.com and start at just $15 plus fees.

The creators of 'Inside Metal: The Pioneers Of L.A. Hard Rock And Metal' Documentary Film Series, which features the biggest names of '80's Metal, offers Metal fans a chance to be included in these historical movies!

The early '80s metal scene in Los Angeles has become legendary, as it spawned such worldwide headliners as Mötley Crüe, Ratt, Dokken, W.A.S.P., and originally, Metallica (before the latter relocated to San Francisco). And the new documentary, 'Inside Metal: Pioneers of L.A. Hard Rock & Metal,' chronicles the entire scene.

Directed by Bob Nalbandian and produced by Metalrock Films, 'Inside Metal' features all-new interviews with countless bands and artists that thrived on the scene, and tell its story, first hand. To ensure that this killer documentary receives the attention it deserves, a fundraising campaign has been set up at WWW.METALROCKFILMS.COM - which will help strengthen the film's distribution, marketing and promotion.

This groundbreaking movie features exclusive and candid interviews with members of Metallica (Lars Ulrich), Ratt (Stephen Pearcy), Dokken (Don Dokken), Quiet Riot (Carlos Cavazo), W.A.S.P. Early feedback has been exceptional, including renowned video director Jonas Åkerlund (who has worked with the likes of Metallica and Ozzy) raving, "This film captures an era that catapulted metal into the spotlight and takes the audience on a wild ride down memory lane. After watching it I wanted to get in my time machine and experience those days for the first time. You’re hit with a potent nostalgia, a time I thought we couldn’t get back, not until I saw this film. I can’t get enough of this shit, what an amazing film to watch over and over again, well done!"

Metalrock Films ask - and want - real and serious metal fans to be a part of this historic documentary and spread the word that this was the scene where it all began, ground zero.

"Our Fanbacked campaign will raise the direly needed financial support to bring this film to one and all in the US and Internationally in order to pay for the marketing and promotion to get it noticed by the general public. We want to bring this film to your theatre, town, bar, club and living room! Unite and support us. We have created some one of a kind opportunities for our friends and fans to participate with us in birth of this film. Get your name on the screen and let the world know that you support metal and the bands that create it. Help us tell the story of the music you love and let the world know you love it. Join in the festivities of our, and your, accomplishments by being at the premiere of the movie and interact with the artist that participated in its creation. Commemorate your participation with a plaque, t-shirt, poster or other limited edition merchandise items that says 'Metal Rules.' Keep checking back as we add more tasty premiums."

Stephen Pearcy of Ratt to release ‘Sex, Drugs, Ratt & Roll: My Life In Rock’ autobiography on May 7th

Stephen Pearcy of Ratt to release ‘Sex, Drugs, Ratt & Roll: My Life In Rock’ autobiography on May 7th

Ratt singer Stephen Pearcy will release his autobiography entitled 'Sex, Drugs, Ratt & Roll: My Life In Rock' on May 7th through Simon & Schuster's Gallery Books. The 288 page autobiography is being billed as a jaw-dropping tell-all from the lead singer of the 1980s supergroup Ratt: the groupies, the trashed hotel rooms, the drugs -- and just how much you can get away with when you're one of the biggest hair metal stars of all time.

In the mid-1980s, Ratt, alongside Motley Crue, Poison, and Quiet Riot, were laying down the riffs and unleashing the scissor kicks that would herald the arrival of music's most flamboyantly debauched era. Now with 'Sex, Drugs, Ratt & Roll', Ratt frontman and chief rabble-rouser Stephen Pearcy divulges all the dirty details of the era when big-haired bands ruled the world.

Stephen was primed for a life of excess from an early age -- his father died of a heroin overdose when he was twelve, and by the age of fifteen, Stephen was himself a drug addict. When Stephen met the thrill-seeking Robbin Crosby, he knew he'd found his perfect partner in crime -- both in music and partying. Ratt's 1984 debut single, "Round And Round", became one of the top-selling metal songs of all time, but it was the band's off-stage escapades that were the stuff of legend. "Our tour bus is like our pirate ship, it's where we rape and pillage," said Pearcy in 1987. Now Pearcy's memoir reveals all the rock star excess -- the partying, the women, the $2,000-a-day drug habits -- letting fans see into this harrowing hair-metal lifestyle and what it's really like behind the scenes when you're a rock star.

Famed book editor Jeremie Ruby-Strauss, editor at Gallery Books stated about what fans can expect from Stephen Pearcy's forthcoming book: "There will be a ton of sex, mind-boggling amounts of drugs, and, of course, a whole lot of RATT and roll. There's also stuff about him breaking both legs as a kid and whatnot, but are you seriously not more intrigued by the sex and drugs?"

L.A. Guns announce new guitarist

L.A. Guns announce new guitarist

L.A. Guns have announced the addition of guitarist Frankie Wilsey to the group's ranks. The band released this statement: "We first met [Frankie] back in 2007 when he was playing in Stephen Pearcy's band, Arcade, on the Rock Never Stops tour. Frankie spent more time on our bus than his own, impressing us with hours of classic bootleg videos from the '70s and '80s. He was clearly a rock aficionado, truly a scholar and a gentleman.

"Frankie's been playing guitar since 1977. He formed his first band, Head On, in San Francisco in '81 and then went on to form the hometown Bay Area champions Sea Hags in '88. He moved to Los Angeles in the early '90s, where he teamed up with Stephen Pearcy of Ratt and Fred Coury of Cinderella to form Arcade. In addition to lots of sessions in Los Angeles, Frankie recently toured with legendary singer John Waite and also had a residency in Las Vegas as Joe Perry in the definitive Aerosmith tribute band Aeromyth.

"Frankie joins [L.A. Guns] with guns blazing, ready to tour the world and get involved in writing and recording new original material."

Says Frankie: "I met Phil [Lewis, vocals] and Steve [Riley, drums] years ago, traveling down this road. Found out they're blessed with classic-rock style and a road-warrior ethic that is rare in this weakling world of music.

"I have to say I think this is a very good matchup. Let's hope the fans feel the same."

Due to "extenuating circumstances and musical differences," guitarist Stacey Blades announced his departure from L.A. Guns last week.
