Vince Neil of Motley Crue broke his foot during Motley Crue's set last night (Sept. 12) at the Blossom Music Center in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio on 'The Tour' with KISS and The Treatment. Vince confirmed the injury in a Twitter post, writing, "Cleveland tonight. Paramedics think I broke my foot. I hope not. Getting X-ray tomorrow in Toronto. Thanks Cleveland for understanding!!"
Neil tweeted today after the X-rays, "Yea it's broke!!" Neil also said: "[It's] two fractured bones [but] the show must go on!!" He adds, "I'm sorry I won't be able to give you the show you deserve!"
MÖTLEY CRÜE has released the following statement:
"While [MÖTLEY CRÜE singer] Vince Neil sustained two fractures in his foot during last night's show in Cuyahoga Falls [Ohio],we'd like to let everyone know that this injury will not affect upcoming shows on 'The Tour' with KISS. Tonight's [Thursday, September 13] show in Toronto will go on as planned, though perhaps with a few less high kicks from Mr. Neil. 'The Tour' continues tonight in Toronto, Ontario before hitting New York and Massachusetts over the weekend. After that he’ll have to get through six more shows.
Motley Crue and KISS kicked off 'The Tour' on Friday night (July 20) in Bristow, VA. at Jiffy Lube Live, with both for the performing sets that were predominately all hits. Motley Crue did perform their new single 'Sex,' which you can watch below along with Tommy Lee's drum solo to the song 'Love Rollercoaster.'

UK rockers The Treatment post new video tour diary, get ready for ‘The Tour’ with KISS and Motley Crue
UK rockers The Treatment just posted another video tour diary of their recent stint opening up for Steel Panther on the 'Balls Out Over Europe' tour. We get to see a bit of hygene habits, and the boys actually do brush their teeth. There is some brief nudity, of the band and some of their fans, and it shows what a great fucking time these guys are having. There's even an appearance from Steel Panther frontman Michael Starr. Here's part three, as well as the previous two parts for your enjoyment.
The boys from Cambridge released an E.P. on Record Store Day UK (Apr. 21). If there are anymore available and you want one, you can find out here: www.banquetrecords.com . The band is on tour with Thin Lizzy for a couple of dates in the UK in May, followed sets at the Download Festival 2012 on June 9th, Earthshaker Day in Switzerland on June 23rd, and the Graspop Festival in Belgium on June 24th. Then get ready America, as The Treatment will be getting major exposure as the openers on 'The Tour' with KISS and Motley Crue. With an early Def Leppard/Thin Lizzy/UFO influenced sound, these young guys are ready to make some inroads here! The Treatment, favorites of Crue bassist Nikki Sixx since their debut 'Drink, F**k, Fight' single/video, were invited to join a run of arena dates starting July 20th in Virginia. Check out what the boys are bringing musically on their facebook page here: www.facebook.com/TheTreatmentOfficial
Gene Simmons of KISS was interviewed by upcoming tour mate Nikki Sixx of Motley Crue on the April 13 edition of Nikki's 'Sixx Sense' syndicated radio show. Listen to the entire chat below.
'The Tour' with KISS and Motley Crue will kick off on July 20 in Bristow, Virginia and will run through September 23 in Hartford, Connecticut.
Soundgarden start us off on this edition of Rock Picks of the Week with their fantastic new track 'Live to Rise' from the rocking 'Avengers Assemble' soundtrack. The soundtrack will be released just three days before the film on May 1. Soundgarden's latest will be featured in the end credits of what will be one of the biggest movies of the summer.
Soundgarden stated in an official press release recently, when just releasing a snippet of the song: "We've been hard at work on our new album, which will come out this Fall. When the opportunity arose to write an original song for the film came our way, we thought it could be a cool match. We are excited to release our new song, which is also the only new song in the film. Here's a taste. Loudest of Love."
Adam Kaspar, who co-produced Sondgarden's last record, 1996's "Down On The Upside", has been working with the group on the new album as well. Soundgarden will be making the European Festival trek this summer starting with a May 25 appearance at the Sonisphere Festival in Madrid, Spain. Soundgarden will also headline the 2012 Hard Rock Calling in Hyde Park, London on July 13, 2012, with special guests Iggy & The Stooges and Cold Chisel. Here's the full slate of gigs for the summer:
May 25 - Sonisphere Festival - Madrid, Spain
May 27 - Pinkpop Festival - Heerlen, Netherlands
May 28 - Wertchter Boutique Festival - Wertchter, Belgium
May 29 - Le Zenith de Paris - Paris, France
May 31 - Zitadelle - Berlin, Germany

Jun. 3 - Rock Im Park - Nuremberg, Germany
Jun. 4 - Arena Concerti Fiera Milano - Milan, Italy
Jun. 7 - Sweden Rock Festival - Solvesborg, Sweden
Jun. 10 - Download Festival - Donington, England
Jul. 13 - Hard Rock Calling - London, England
The next Rock Pick "Not Supposed To Sing The Blues' comes from the new Europe album 'Bag Of Bones.' It's a great straight ahead rocker from the ninth studio album from the Swedish hard rockers, with references to great rock tracks from the past. It has passion, great musicianship and production, and just plain kick ass! The new album will be released on April 27 by earMusic/Edel. The CD features a guest appearance by guitar great Joe Bonamassa (Black Country Communion) and was produced by Kevin Shirley, who has previously worked with Iron Maiden, Joe Bonamassa, Black Country Communion, Black Stone Cherry and Journey, among others. If you think 'The Final Countdown' when you think Europe, get ready for something much different, and most definetly more rocking. Europe will be touring the globe in 2012-13 and vocalist Joey Tempest has said the band may not be performing that one in concert on the tour, although I find that hard to believe.
'Bag Of Bones' track listing:
1. Riches To Rags
2. Not Supposed To Sing The Blues
4. Bag Of Bones
6. My Woman My Friend
7. Demon Head
8. Drink And A Smile
10. Mercy You Mercy Me
11. Bring It All Home
Commented Europe singer Joey Tempest: "Kevin Shirley did such a great job capturing the spirit of this band. He just let us do our thing and then pushed us and our songs to the max. Finally we express ourselves completely without restraint. Straight from heart and soul. It took some time but we have arrived!"
Added Europe guitar virtuoso John Norum: "Why drive VW beetle when you can drive a Rolls Royce?! 'Bag Of Bones' is a classic rock album with lots of class. Even my mom likes it!"
Regarding the new CD title, Europe drummer Ian Haugland said, "It's not (called 'Bag Of Bones') because we all have lost tons of weight or found a new interest in archeology or dogs... It's just because it sounds fuckin' cool!"
In a July 2011 press release, Tempest stated about Europe's new CD, "We still feel we have one hell of a rock record to make. Kevin's the man for the job. We love his work with Bonamassa, Black Country Communion, and Black Stone Cherry. He's the real deal. We're ready to do some serious damage."
Last year, Europe met up with Shirley in Stockholm to discuss the direction of the next album. Based on reactions from the fans and media, Europe's 2009 album, "Last Look At Eden", proved to be the band's most important record since "The Final Countdown". "I've been a big fan of Europe's work for many years," said Shirley. "The band is influential and highly underrated. I can't wait to make the upcoming album their most explosive to date."
The new material suggests a more straightforward rock approach evident in "Doghouse" — a new song Europe performed on their most recent U.K. tour. The song is also featured on Europe's "Europe: Live at Shepherd's Bush" DVD, released in August 2011 via earMUSIC CDs and DVDs.

90's Rock gods Candlebox are back, and we're glad about it. Their new album 'Love Stories & Other Musings,' their first studio offering in four years, was released on April 3rd, and the band is currently on tour in support of the new album. 'Believe In It' is the first single, and shows growth, while bringing positivity and still retaining that Candlebox sound.
"Years ago I read something that changed the way I look at EVERYTHING! It struck so deeply that I have never forgotten it. It simply stated: Without music, life would be a mistake. I've never forgotten it, even when I was struggling to find a song or a melody it kept me searching and frankly I could not imagine my life without it," said lead vocalist and co-founder, Kevin Martin. "This record for me is no mistake, it is our music and our love for what a great gift we have been given. Love Stories & Other Musings is a new direction for us and I couldn't be happier to share it with our fans."
"I haven't felt this way about a release from Candlebox since our first record. The feeling for this record is both refreshing and stimulating," said guitarist Peter Klett. 'I can't be more excited to release this music to the fans who have been with us for so long."

The young U.K. rockers The Treatment round out the Rock Picks this week. All the guys in the band are around 18 years old, and although they made be young, they play and sound like bands that have been doing it for years.
The Treatment just completed a UK tour with Steel Panther, have already toured with other major rockers including Alice Cooper in the past, will support Thin Lizzy for a few shows during May in the UK, and play the Download Festival in Donington on June 9th. The big time news for the band is that they grabbed the coveted support slot on the upcoming KISS and Motley Crue North American co-headlining tour, simply dubbed 'The Tour.' That huge tour kicks off on July 20th in Bristow, Virginia and run through September 23rd in Hartford, Connecticut. Nikki Sixx played their song 'The Doctor' on his Sixx Sense radio show, liked it, and it all came together from there. This will raise the exposure level in the States for the band and I can't wait for them to blow the fuck up here!
The Treatment are:
The Treatment was recently in the studio laying down tracks for a brand new 70's covers EP; and as with the band's debut album, "This Might Hurt", released by Spinefarm Records last year, production has been overseen by Laurie Mansworth at Iron Maiden bassist Steve Harris' Barnyard Studios, with Tony Newton mixing.
The track listing for the EP:
1. Run Run Run (Jo Jo Gunne)
2. Take Me Bake 'Ome (Slade)
3. Evil Woman (Electric Light Orchestra)
4. Motorbikin' (Chris Spedding)
5. Let's Work Together (Canned Heat)
The Treatment's Dhani will be playing at the Stick It to MS charity event on the 15th of July. 800 drummers are wanted to break a Guinness World Record in aid of the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
SITMS 2012 promises to be the largest gathering of drummers on drum kits the world has ever seen. If you are a drummer WE NEED YOU!! In 2009 582 drummers came to the NIA in Birmingham and broke a world record. In the process we managed to raise a staggering £66,315 for the MS Society.
In 2012 we are aiming to smash this record and raise more money whilst getting loud about Multiple Sclerosis. If anybody is interested in taking part and drumming check out the website: www.stickittoms.com
