The 2013 Grammy Award nominations were announced last night on a nationally televised special on CBS, with Bruce Springsteen and Paul McCartney each receiving multiple nominations and the Black Keys singer-guitarist Dan Auerbach up for six grammmys. Other notable nominees are Jack White, The Rolling Stones, Trent Reznor, Muse and Tenacious D, with Anthrax, Iron Maiden, Halestorm, Lamb of God, Marilyn Manson and Megadeth up for the best hard rock/metal performance.
