Bush will release their sixth album, ‘Man on the Run,’ on Zuma Rock Records on Oct. 21. The lead single “The Only Way Out,” will hit radio, iTunes, Amazon and all major retailers on September 9th. The new album was produced by Grammy-winner Nick Raskulinecz, who has work with Foo Fighters, Rush, Alice in Chains, Stone Sour, Mastodon, Deftones and more. The record was recorded at Studio 606, which is owned by Dave Grohl.
Fans will get their first taste of the new record when the rock act drops the album’s lead single ‘The Only Way Out’ at digital retailers on Sept. 9. Bush have also teamed with PledgeMusic for a special campaign that offers fans a chance to take a behind-the-scenes look at the new album, along with a number of Pledge exclusives including limited-edition vinyl, hand-written lyrics, pre-order opportunities and more. ‘Man on the Run’ is the follow-up to Bush’s 2011 release ‘The Sea of Memories,’ which was their first new album in more than 10 years. It spawned the hit ‘The Sound of Winter.’ making rock radio history as the first self-released song ever to hit No. 1 at Alternative Rock radio (where it stayed for six consecutive weeks).
2014 marks the 20th anniversary of Bush’s debut album Sixteen Stone, which hit No. 4 on The Billboard 200 and included the No. 1 hits ‘Comedown,’ ‘Glycerine’ and ‘Machinehead,’ as well as ‘Everything Zen’ and ‘Little Things.’
