Cheap Trick’s have released a brand-new holiday tune, “I Want You for Christmas,” which is a reworked version of their classic track ‘I Want You To Want Me.’ The video for the song got its TV premiere this past Thursday on VH1 Classic to coincide with the 25th anniversary of the release of the first ‘A Very Special Christmas’ charity album. The tune appears on the new compilation ‘A Very Special Christmas 25th Anniversary’, which is the eighth installment in the series.

Marionette likenesses of Cheap Trick’s members are featured in the video, taking a liking to a sexy female elf who is preparing holiday cookies and trimming a Christmas tree in a house across the street from them. Watch the video below.

Over the years, the ‘A Very Special Christmas’ album series has raised a whopping $100 million for the Special Olympics.
