Courtney Love will be getting back to acting with an upcoming role on season 7 of ‘Sons of Anarchy’s final season on FX.

Love will make her dramatic TV acting debut in episode 4, playing Ms. Harrison, a straight-shooting preschool teacher of Jax’s eldest son, Abel. Love’s character will take a special interest in Abel, which may cause friction with the boy’s mother Wendy (played by new series regular Drea de Matteo).

Love’s past credits inclue Alex Cox’s 1986 classic “Sid And Nancy”, followed by appearances in 1996’s “Basquiat” and “Feeling Minnesota”. Her much-celebrated turn as the tragic Althea Flynt in the 1996 film “The People Vs. Larry Flynt” was her most critically acclaimed role, garnering praise and nominations from many different film critics. She has also appeared in 1999’s “200 Cigarettes”, 1999’s “Man On The Moon” (which reunited her with “Larry Flynt” director Milos Forman), 2000’s “Beat”, 2001’s “Julie Johnson”, and 2002’s “Trapped.”

Courtney will join another musician in the ‘Anarchy’ cast, as Marilyn Manson will also appear in Season 7 as a prison power player who has dealings with Jax.
