Paul McCartney has written the score for a ballet that will be shown in New York and London. It’s called “Ocean’s Kingdom” and the major orchestral work is set to premiere at the New York City Ballet’s fall gala in September.

According to the New York Times, it’s 45 minutes long, features about 40 performers and is divided into four acts. Paul told the paper the ballet is “basically a romantic story” about a couple from opposite worlds – an ocean kingdom and an earth kingdom. The ballet is expected to open in New York before moving to London.
