Rolling Stone reports ex-guitarist John Frusciante has filed a protective restraining order against a fan who he claims has been stalking him and his wife. The woman has repeatedly contacted him about writing a screenplay about his life, sending “overly emotional” letters and emails and confronting him at concerts and even at his home.
To celebrate the release of the new album, I’m With You, the Red Hot Chili Peppers will be coming to a theater near you. On August 30, the same day that the album hits North American shores, the group will perform the entire record in sequence, followed by other fan favorites, in a special high-definition cinematic event dubbed Red Hot Chili Peppers LIVE: I’m With You. The band will perform from Cologne, Germany live via satellite to select movie theaters around the world.
