The Rolling Stones were joined by John Mayer and former Stone Mick Taylor on Thursday night for the first of two shows at New Jersey’s Prudential Center. Mayer rocked it, traded guitar leads with Keith Richards on the band’s 1978 classic, ‘Respectable,’ with Mick Taylor playing ‘Midnight Rambler,’ as he did with the Stones during their two recent shows in London.

Taylor will also jam with the Stones on Saturday for the fifth and final show of the ’50 Years and Counting’ tour, which is being offered as a pay-per-view event. The Stones will be joined Saturday by special guests Bruce Springsteen, Lady Gaga and the Black Keys.

As far as the news about playing at the Coachella music festival, rollingstone.com reported yesterday that a note under the ‘Tour’ section on the band’s mobile app listed a tour date of April 12 in Indio, California, listed as ‘Coachella 2013.’
Shortly after, somebody in the Stones camp realized that it got out, and it was taken down a couple of hours later. A fan captured the image however, which you can see below.

It has also been rumored that the Stones will make a stop next summer at the Glastonbury Music Festival in the U.K.
