Slash (Velvet Revolver, ex-Guns N’ Roses, Slash’s Snakepit) performed as this year’s Road Recovery honoree, at their annual concert in New York City at the Best Buy Theater on September 13th. Slash performed with Matt Sorum (The Cult, Velvet Revolver, ex-Guns N’ Roses), Duff McKagan (Velvet Revolver, ex-Guns N’ Roses), Gilby Clarke (ex-Guns N’ Roses), and Wayne Kramer (MC5) and a number of other guests. It was two members shy of a full GnR reunion! Check out the awesome footage below.

Road Recovery is dedicated to helping young people battle addiction and other adversities by harnessing the influence of entertainment industry professionals who have confronted similar crises and now wish to share their experience, knowledge, and resources. With support from the mental health field, Road Recovery provides hands-on mentorship training, educational/performance workshops, peer-support networking, and “all access” to real-life opportunities by collaborating with young people to create and present live-concert events.
