After 14 years, the great cornholio is back in this new clip from the re-boot of “Beavis and Butt-head” for MTV. Mike Judge, the creator of “Beavis and Butt-head” (and the voice of both), and the man behind “Office Space,” “Idiocracy” and “Extract,” as well as the long-running animated program “King of the Hill,” told a panel at Comic-Con that he wanted to bring back “Beavis and Butt-Head” because he “felt like TV was getting too smart.”
They used to make fun of videos on MTV, but apparently Beavis and Butt-Head are now spending their time mocking “Jersey Shore”.
The show, which is expected to return in October, remains true to Judge’s Austin, Texas roots. Austin native comedians Howard Kremer and Chip Pope, whose history with MTV goes back to “Austin Stories,” wrote for the rebooted show.
